Modern Romantic Wedding – Angie, Zack & Aiden

Zack and Angie met through his sister Hillary years before they ever dated, in fact they were friends back when Angie was married to Aiden’s father.
Zack reached out and offered to help Angie and Aiden move into an apartment, after a low time in her life, and that is when Zack and Angie rekindled their friendship. It was shortly thereafter that they went on their first date.
Over the years they think they consternated their families on both ends, as they dated for about 8 years before finally getting married. They knew they would be together, but just weren’t in a rush to run to the altar.
Zack proposed in Oct. of 2010. Angie said, “it was a complete surprise to me”!!! The proposal was absolutely perfect!!! Zack had taken her son Aiden out the Sunday before he proposed to let him know his intentions and to video Aiden’s reaction / approval! “It meant so much to me that Zack had involved Aiden as this was not just a union of us as a couple, but really the 3 of us together as a family!”
Angie smiles saying “I have been blessed in life; I have married my best friend and had my son present to celebrate this entire event with us.”

“The Belle Sera was the perfect venue for us! Both Zack and I have busy careers, we don’t have a lot of extra time on our hands (this did factor into some of our delays in planning a wedding prior). The staff at Bella Sera made this event a no brainer! We were able to pick out a color scheme, and really just an overall theme and they tied together all the loose ends to create an ambiance that was one of a kind and totally us!!!”
