Meet The Bella Sera Event Center Pros

I have been the co-owner of the award-winning Bella Sera Event Center for the past 19 years. Prior to that, I helped build and run five successful family owned La Estrellita Mexican restaurants here in CO. I have a passion and gift to genuinely get to know my clients on a deep level in order to deliver them the type of 5-star celebration nobody else in the industry can. I have even officiated a few weddings here because my couples feel like I have connected with them so well! Outside of running the venue, I love spending time with my wife Elisabeth and five adult children.

I have been co-owner of The Bella Sera with my husband John for the past 20 years. I love being creative and looking for new ways to excite and delight our clients and their guests, and have always held myself and staff to maintaining high standards without the expectation of perfection. Although “semi-retiring” in 2022, I still dabble in the creative innovation of new ideas and services to keep Bella Sera’s celebrations truly personalized and top-notch. For fun I love staying physically active, creative, and spending quality time with my family and friends. Also...the retirement thing really never happened as planned.

I wear many hats at the Bella Sera but I am primarily our Systems Guru & Sales Representative and have the privilege of meeting with excited couples looking to find their perfect venue. I got married to my soulmate at the Bella Sera in August 2020 and have been a part of the team ever since! My favorite things to do are to spend time with my husband Jonah and our husky Blue and play Dungeons & Dragons or Spike Ball with friends.

As Catering Manager, meeting with our clients during their private tastings gives me the opportunity to really learn about the food and beverage experience they want to have on their Wedding Day or Quinceanera. I then love inspiring our catering team to deliver the highest standards to ensure we all give them and their guests that experience. I love the incredibly talented and fun team we have at The Bella Sera.

I am a designer and decorator, and just like my nickname I can make all your decor dreams come true. With a wave of my wand an entire room will be transformed into the celebration of your dreams! I am also a married mother of four with two beautiful grandchildren. I moved to Colorado 6 years ago from Arizona and have fallen in love with all things Colorado! You can always count on me to bring a joyous and upbeat personality to your planning process!

Event planning has always been my passion. I have always enjoyed creating new ways to gather family & friends while creating a fun and unforgettable experience. Attention to detail is my expertise and I truly take delight in helping clients turn their dreams into reality. Working for Bella Sera has inspired my passion for design & culture even more. The Energy & Ambience is what makes our venue stand out amongst all. I'm an avid outdoorsman that enjoys time off in the backcountry of Colorado. Some of my favorite hobbies include backpacking, fly fishing, and snowboarding. My favorite days are where I strap 40 lbs of gear into a backpack to live off of for a few days in the remote wilderness, that's my idea of peace and quiet. I started at the Bella Sera in 2019, primarily as a second photographer for 2+ years, before I stepped up to a lead. I actually attended a wedding at the Bella Sera in 2018 and I fell in love with the venue! I ended up assisting and second shooting with the photographer from the wedding I attended, and it's been such an incredible journey since!

I am a colorado native and I still live in the same neighborhood I grew up in. In my spare time I love to spend time with my kids, pets and plants. I have two children, 4 pets (2 dogs, a tortoise and a axolotl) and I have over 50 houseplants. I also love spending time out and about enjoying all that our beautiful state and city have to offer. I have been incredibly fortunate to spend the last 10 years photographing weddings at the Bella Sera. No one wedding is alike and every couple is so unique and special in their own way. I love getting to spend one of their most important life events with them and their closest family members and friends capturing those moments and creating lasting memories for generations to come. I am originally from just outside of Chicago and I have been mixing music for a myriad of groups since 2000. I've performed all over the place between clubs and venues along with joining the Bella Sera team in 2012. With special mixes and smooth transitions, I am ready to rock your event!

I am a 57-year-old mother of three with four grandchildren. I have been a chef for over 25 years, and I have loved and enjoyed every minute of it! My coworkers are fabulous, and my boss is compassionate and has a noble heart who appreciates all of our hard work. My best friend, Margarita, is one of the main reasons I love this place so much. When our guests tell us that they love and savor our food, it is the greatest part our day!
