Garden of Eden Inspired Winter Wedding in Colorado

Green and white wedding colors for winter
Against a backdrop of snow-dusted evergreens and glowing candlelight, family and friends gathered from near and far to celebrate a love story years in the making.
Bella Sera’s Tuscan-inspired architecture set the perfect stage for Ebonie & Lenny’s vision: an Italian Garden of Eden in the heart of winter.
Garden of Eden Wedding Ideas and Vision
The ambiance felt like a secret garden hidden away in a fairy tale—elevated, intimate, and divine. It was the Garden of Eden reimagined through a luxurious Italian lens, full of abundance, life, and the sacred sense of something just beginning. Guests walked through a tall arch adorned with greenery, and the theme was carried through into the ceremony as they walked down the aisle to their seats.
The Garden of Eden represents:
- A perfect beginning – Just as Adam and Eve began their life together in paradise, a wedding marks the start of a couple’s journey together.
- Natural beauty and abundance – Eden was described as a lush paradise filled with beautiful plants and animals, making it perfect for garden or outdoor wedding inspiration.
This immersive indoor Eden we created with our couple gave a sense of intimate natural wonder while providing protection from the unpredictable winter weather, which allowed their paradise-inspired celebration to unfold flawlessly even as it snowed outside.
The reception carried the Italian Garden of Eden vision forward with even more richness. Tables glowed under candlelit chandeliers, cascading ivy, romantic candles, ivory linens and silver accents.
The space was transformed into an enchanted indoor garden, where lush greenery spilled from tall centerpieces, vines danced along iron gates, and delicate florals in soft white, ivory and deep greens gave the room a dreamlike quality. Warm uplighting cast a golden glow, bringing the romance of the Mediterranean countryside into the heart of Colorado. A multicultural wedding is an exciting opportunity to blend traditions
Planning a multicultural wedding is an exciting opportunity to blend traditions and create a unique and memorable celebration.
The ceremony itself was a beautiful merging of cultures and heritage. Beneath their custom-designed chuppah
Following their vows, Lenny broke the glass, a cherished Jewish tradition representing the fragility of life and the importance of treasuring love. The sharp “crack!” was followed by an eruption of cheers and a resounding “Mazel Tov!”
Moments later, they turned toward another sacred ritual—jumping the broom. A powerful tradition in African American culture, the act signified a new beginning, sweeping away the past and stepping boldly into their future. As they jumped, hands clasped and hearts aligned, the joy in the room swelled. Two cultures, two families, one story being written together.
A Legacy of Love
Ebonie and Lenny’s wedding wasn’t just a ceremony—it was a celebration of legacy. Of love rooted in deep tradition and nourished by the beauty of two merging cultures. In a setting inspired by Eden and shaped by their personal story, they created not just a wedding, but a memory that will echo across generations.
There were heartfelt toasts, joyful tears, and a dance floor that stayed packed well into the night, including soul line dancing played by Joe from DJ Done. There was laughter that echoed, music that moved generations, and a celebration that honored both the couple’s history and their hopes for the future.
Wedding Photography vs. Wedding Videography
The couple opted for both photography and videography, and we’re so glad they did. This is always the question our couples ask:
Do you need a wedding photographer and videographer?
In our experience over the past twenty years as a Denver Wedding Venue, choosing to get wedding video in addition to photos is the best of both worlds. Your video will show you not only what your wedding looked like, but what it “felt like” in my opinion. Video captures much more “in the moment” footage with more interaction with your guests.
