Is an All-Inclusive Wedding Venue Worth It?
Let’s paint a picture.
You just got engaged. You’re floating. The ring is gorgeous, your people are flooding your comments with congratulations, and you’ve already saved approximately 200 photos to your brand new Pinterest board. Life is good. Then someone asks: “So, have you started planning yet?” This is where you ask Is an All-Inclusive Wedding Venue Worth It?
And just like that, the spreadsheets begin.
Caterers. Rental companies. Bar service. Florists. Coordinators. Venues that are beautiful but “don’t allow outside catering.” Venues that allow outside catering but don’t have chairs. (Chairs! You have to find chairs!) It can feel less like planning a celebration and more like managing a small corporation — one that serves cake.
So you ask yourself…Is an All-Inclusive Wedding Venue Worth It?
Enter: the all-inclusive wedding venue. And yes, it’s absolutely worth it. But not just for the reasons you might think.
First, Let’s Talk About What an “All-Inclusive” Wedding Venue Actually Means
When most people hear “all-inclusive” wedding venues they sometimes fear they’ll be “cookie-cutter” basic weddings. This can be the case with big corporate wedding venue chains, but not with a boutique family owned venue like our Colorado wedding venue – Bella Sera Event Center. All-inclusive venues do typically bundle the big stuff into their packages: the venue itself, catering, bar service, tables, linens, chairs, and other misc. services. However, one of the biggest values is working with a team that knows how to make it all work together seamlessly.
The biggest benefits of all-inclusive venues are: fewer contracts, fewer vendors and meetings, less vetting vendors, payments all made to one location.
But here’s what we think matters even more than the logistics: a great all-inclusive venue doesn’t just handle the “what.” It’s deeply invested in the “why.”
Why are you two celebrating the way you are? What’s your story? What does this day need to feel like for it to be unmistakably, customized just for the two of you.
At our wedding venue just outside Denver, that’s where every single planning conversation starts. We begin with a vision planning meeting and then help you cascade through catering choices, design decisions, liquor options, a custom event timeline and flow, and photography and DJ meetings with our pros.
Your Love Story & Wedding Vision is One-of-a-Kind
We’ve worked with couples who got engaged at Disneyland and want their entire wedding to feel like a Disney fairy tale. Couples who bonded over their shared obsession with Harry Potter and wanted just a tiny — okay, very large — nod to that in their décor. Couples who said, “We want our guests to walk away feeling like they just went to the best dinner party of their lives.”
Every single one of those weddings looked different. And every single one was exactly right.
That’s because our pre-event planning process isn’t a checklist — it’s a conversation. Several of them, actually. We want to know:
- Your love story? (And yes, we want the full story, not the elevator version.)
- What does “celebrating” look like for your family and friend group?
- Is there a song that’s “yours”? A food that has to be on the menu?
- What do you want your guests to feel when they walk through our signature “room reveal” to your reception?
- What do YOU want to feel when you look back at photos ten years from now?

These aren’t soft, fluffy questions. They’re the foundation of every decision we make together — from menu design to the flow of the evening to which moments get the extra layer of intention and detail.
Because here’s the truth: no two couples are the same, and no two weddings at our venue look the same. The all-inclusive framework gives you a strong, stress-free foundation. Your story is what builds everything on top of it.

Okay But Let’s Also Talk About the Money
We’d be doing you a disservice if we skipped this part. One of the biggest perks of an all-inclusive venue is financial clarity and an overall discount.
When you book a “venue only” space that isn’t all-inclusive, you’re essentially assembling a wedding from scratch. That means:
- Catering: $85–$150+ per person with tax & gratuity
- Bar service: $40–$100+ per person
- Rentals (tables, chairs, linens, place settings): $2,000–$8,000+
- Day-of coordination: $1,500–$3,500
- Secret fees: (cake cutting fees, corkage fees, setup/breakdown fees… the hits just keep coming)
- Ceremony: $1,500– up
With an all-inclusive package, you get one number. One contract. One team. You know what you’re spending, you know what’s included, and you can stop any anxiety or worry about “hidden fees”.
And because our catering team works in our kitchen, in our space, with our staff every single week, there are no “getting to know the venue” hiccups on your wedding day. Everyone already knows where everything is.
How one Premier Colorado Wedding Venue Delivers “All-Inclusive”
We know “we’ll take care of everything!” can sound like a marketing line. So here’s exactly what that looks like in practice — six steps that take you from “just engaged and slightly overwhelmed” to “fully ready and genuinely excited.”
Step 1: Wedding Vision Planning Session
This is where it all begins — and it’s our favorite conversation to have. You’ll sit down with one of our wedding experts to start putting your vision on paper. Timeline, vendors, logistics, creative ideas, personalization — we work through it all together. Couples consistently tell us this session alone relieves so much stress. (We’ll take that as the highest compliment.)
Step 2: Design Session
Next, you’ll meet your personal Wedding Designer — yes, your own designer — who will help you build the look and feel of your day from the ground up. Have a wildly specific vision? Amazing, let’s run with it. Not sure where to start? Also perfect, that’s exactly what they’re there for. Whether you want something bold and dramatic or simple and breathtaking, your Designer helps you create it exactly how you imagined. We’ve designed from simple to extravagant, dark and edgy to bright and blingy!
Step 3: Private Tasting
Here’s a step that never gets old: you get to request the entrées you want to try before deciding what your guests will eat. You’ll meet your day-of Catering Manager, who walks you through dietary restrictions, guest preferences, bar options, and customization ideas. It’s part planning meeting, part delicious dinner. Truly one of the better evenings of engagement season.
Step 4: DJ and Photographer Meeting
Here’s where the all-inclusive magic really shines. Instead of spending weeks researching, vetting, and booking a DJ and photographer separately — and then hoping they work well together — we connect you directly with our partnered professionals who are top of their industry and already know our venue inside and out. You’ll personalize everything from your song list to your photo shot list. One meeting. Done.
Step 5: Final Meeting & Rehearsal
Last-minute changes? Totally expected — we’ve seen it all and we’re ready for it. You’ll meet with your day-of Wedding Coordinator to walk through every detail so you head into your wedding day with genuine peace of mind. Then gather your closest people for the rehearsal, run through the ceremony, and let your Coordinator make sure everyone knows exactly where to be and when. Deep breath. You’ve got this.
Step 6: The Wedding Day
The big day has finally arrived — and here’s all you need to do: relax and enjoy getting ready. When you arrive at Bella Sera Event Center, everything will already be fully decorated and ready for your guests. Your only job is to get married and have the time of your life. We’ll handle absolutely everything else.

12.31.25 New Year’s Eve Wedding | Bella Sera Event Center
My wedding was on New Years Eve, after searching every venue in Colorado. I found Bella Sera, literally perfectly placed in Brighton. What sold me on this venue besides how beautiful the grand ballroom is, was the convenience of an in house florist, catering, photography and DJ all in one. I have all my resources in one package and the ceremony and reception are beautifully orchestrated in the same building so my guests didn’t have to drive. Planning a wedding is so stressful and so expensive but the staff especially Courtney, 10/10 recommend working with her! She made it almost too easy that it didn’t feel like I was ever a bridezilla or stressed. I think wedding planning is perceived as chaotic and it was the exact opposite Bella Sera handled everything for me very well. The food was delicious. The mashed potato bar was my favorite out of all the add-ons! It was worth it. I will always recommend this venue for any special event!

But Is It Worth It For MY Wedding?
An all-inclusive venue is especially worth it if any of these sound like you:
- You want to actually enjoy your engagement instead of spending every weekend interviewing vendors.
- You’d rather spend your budget on the experience (amazing food, open bar, great music) than on logistics.
- The idea of a single, trusted team that already knows how to work together in your space sounds like a dream.
- You want a planning process that starts with your love story, not a line-item spreadsheet.
- You want the mountains in the backdrop and a team who knows this area, this weather, and this magic.
(That last one: we’re near Denver. The views from our venue are, to put it scientifically, absurdly good.)
The Bottom Line – Is an All-Inclusive Wedding Venue Worth It?
An all-inclusive wedding venue isn’t about giving up control of your wedding. It’s about trading the exhausting logistics for more space to focus on what actually matters: celebrating the two of you, with the people you love, in a way that feels completely and joyfully like yours.
We’ve seen a lot of weddings. And the ones that feel the most alive, the most memorable, the most “that was the best night of my life” — they always start with a couple who knew their story and found a team who wanted to tell it with them.
At Bella Sera Event Center, we’d love to be that team for you.
